This is really a watermarking software that can be used to add date stamps or text describing the situations leading to the shots.
Boxoft Batch TimeStamp to Photo is a simple and fast photo watermark and conversion tool. You are able to add date stamps to a batch of photos in one go. Text strings also could be applied easily. The tool will automatically read the date of the original picture from a file. It will then place the date string and any other text string you want to add to a batch of photos. The interface makes it really very simple. The simple controls let you add the photos that are to be processed through add file and add folder options. Then you can proceed to the text placement options. There are 3 x 3 locations on the photo that you can set the stamps. You simply select the location through a mouse click.
The second set of grouped controls let you choose the text font, size and color and some attributes like the bold, italic and underline. The third group of controls lets you choose a date format and transparency value of the string you have set up by now. The tool does batch processing and also has a command line option. You would be able to collect data from the EXIF metadata of the camera including the GPS tags support. As a nice touch, automatic renaming and thus organizing the photos features are available. The tool outputs photos in JPG, BMP, PCX, ICO, PNG, GIF and J2k formats. This is a nice and handy tool to have around.
